The standard recommendation is once a month and there's a real reason for that, not just a sales pitch.
The 28-Day Skin Cycle
Your skin completes a full cell turnover cycle roughly every 28 30 days. New cells form in the deeper layers of the skin and gradually migrate to the surface, where they become dead skin cells that need to be removed. Monthly facials align with this cycle treating your skin at the point where professional exfoliation and extraction will have the most impact.
If You're Addressing a Specific Concern
If you're dealing with persistent breakouts, significant texture issues, or starting a treatment series for hyperpigmentation, more frequent visits may be recommended initially every 2 3 weeks until the concern is under control, then dropping back to monthly maintenance.
If You're Just Starting Out
If you've never had a facial before, start with one men's facial appointment and see how your skin responds. Some people see significant improvement after a single session. Others need a few treatments before the full benefit kicks in. We'll give you an honest assessment at your first appointment.
The Denver Variable
Denver's altitude and dry climate mean your skin is under more environmental stress than it would be at lower elevations. Monthly professional treatment helps offset that stress and keeps your skin barrier functioning properly year-round.
The simple answer:
Once a month for maintenance. More frequently if you're addressing a specific concern. At minimum, twice a year if budget is a constraint spring and fall, when Denver's climate shifts most dramatically.
