Everything you need to know before your first appointment.
Denver Skin Therapy is one of the few clinical esthetics studios in Denver with a dedicated focus on men's skincare. Our men's facials are customized to each client's skin type and concerns whether that's razor irritation, congestion, uneven tone, or general maintenance. We offer 30, 60, and 75-minute options so you can fit it into your schedule.
Yes. Microneedling is one of our advanced treatments, starting at $225. It's a 75-minute session that uses controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It's effective for acne scarring, texture, fine lines, and overall skin rejuvenation. We use a topical numbing cream beforehand to keep you comfortable.
Absolutely. While we've built a reputation for men's skincare, we see plenty of women too. Our women's facials are more sensory and experiential, with options for dermaplaning and jelly mask upgrades. We also offer advanced treatments like microneedling, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion for all skin types.
We're located at 825 E Speer Blvd, Unit 16, Denver, CO 80218 in the Alamo Placita neighborhood, just off Speer Boulevard. There is parking available on-site.
We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
Our men's facials are $60 for 30 minutes, $120 for 60 minutes, and $150 for 75 minutes. A back facial (bacial) is $85. Dermaplaning is available as a $20 add-on. No hidden fees, no upcharges for skin type or concerns.
A clinical facial with extractions is the most direct treatment for active ingrown hairs. For ongoing prevention, we focus on proper exfoliation and barrier support. Consistent monthly facials make a significant difference for clients who deal with chronic razor bumps, especially in the neck area.
Yes. Our back facial (bacial) is a 45-minute treatment for $85. It includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, extractions as needed, and a treatment mask. It's one of our most popular services for male clients, especially in the warmer months.
Yes. We offer three groom packages: the Day-Before Groom Facial ($120, 60 min), the Groom + Groomsmen group package ($60/person, 30 min each, minimum 3 people), and the Pre-Wedding Skin Prep Series ($350, 3 sessions over 8 weeks). On-location services at your venue are available with a travel fee.
A spa facial is designed for relaxation. A clinical facial is designed for results. We assess your skin, identify what it actually needs, and use professional-grade products and techniques to address it. It's more focused, more targeted, and more effective for real skin concerns. You'll still be comfortable we just prioritize outcomes over ambiance.
Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation technique that removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair from the surface of the skin using a sterile blade. For men who shave regularly, it can improve texture and make shaving smoother. It's a 15-minute add-on for $20.
Yes. Chemical peels are one of our advanced treatments, starting at $120 for 45 60 minutes. We offer different peel depths depending on your skin concerns and tolerance. Peels are effective for hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, texture, and overall tone. We'll assess your skin before recommending a specific peel type.
Yes. Microneedling is one of the most effective treatments for acne scarring, particularly for atrophic (depressed) scars. It stimulates collagen remodeling, which gradually fills in the scar tissue. Most clients need 3 6 sessions spaced 4 6 weeks apart for significant improvement.
Most of our male clients are first-timers. There's nothing awkward about it it's a clinical appointment, not a spa day. You'll lie on a treatment table, we'll do a quick skin assessment, and then perform the treatment. It's relaxing, low-key, and focused entirely on your skin. Most men leave wondering why they waited so long.
Come with a clean face if possible though we'll cleanse at the start either way. Avoid retinol and exfoliating acids for 24 48 hours before your visit. If you've had any recent procedures like laser or injections, let us know when you book so we can plan accordingly.
For most people, once a month is ideal. Your skin completes a full cell turnover cycle roughly every 28 30 days, so monthly treatments align naturally with that process. If you're working through a specific concern like breakouts or hyperpigmentation, we may recommend more frequent visits early on.
You can book online through the Book Now page, or call and text us directly at (720) 583-5133. We recommend booking a few days in advance, especially for weekend appointments. For groom packages and advanced treatments, book as early as possible.
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee. Life happens just let us know as soon as you can and we'll work with you.
We'll give you specific aftercare instructions based on your treatment. In general: avoid heavy exercise or heat for a few hours, skip active skincare ingredients like retinol or acids for 24 48 hours, and wear SPF if you're going outside. For advanced treatments, we'll go over a more detailed aftercare plan before you leave.
Yes. Gift cards are available in any amount and can be purchased online through our Gift Cards page. They never expire and can be applied toward any service. They make a great gift for partners, groomsmen, or anyone who could use a little skin TLC.
